Design development

Design development in phases

The creative design process:

Phase 1: Conception

First basic considerations and ideas about installation space and structure (drawings, screenshots).

Phase 2: Preliminary design

The selected ideas and concepts are condensed into three-dimensional preliminary designs (CAD working models, screenshots).

Phase 3: Design

The selected preliminary draft receives detailed variants and styling variants (CAD model without drafts, renderings).

Phase 4: Elaboration

The selected design is prepared for production (CAD model with drafts, design model).

Phase 5: Realization

The realization is supervised. Colors, surfaces and product graphics are determined (prototype)

Example ENT unit

During the design development, the basis for discussion emerged in the form of sketches, renderings, visual models and CAD data models. The client was always involved in every development phase.
