German Design Award 2026 for grass and shrub shears by GLORIA
Jury statement: An impressively ergonomic housing makes the "FineCut 18V" a charismatic solution for precise pruning work in the garden. The stylish combination of a compact form, generous cutting width, and intuitive battery indicator supports versatile applications. Through this distinctive design and consistent user focus, the project sets a convincing benchmark in its field and exemplifies how excellent product design can clearly enhance gardening.
New colors for a proven design
Nilfisk is launching its pressure washers in new colors, using light turquoise blue as an accent color to highlight the controls. The proven design by Weinberg & Ruf remains unchanged – and for good reason: the machines are thoughtfully designed and have been setting industry standards for years.
International Design Award Baden-Württemberg
The new marLase Pro® CO2 laser from KLS Martin features state-of-the-art technology in a Weinberg & Ruf design and has been awarded the Baden-Württemberg International Design Prize. Its large 10.4" color touchscreen offers a clear, high-resolution display with touch navigation for accessing laser settings and programs. The compact design provides more working space in the surgical field and reduces the need for frequent refocusing. This improves surgical precision and efficiency.
The new STIHL generators in brand-specific design
Identity and uniqueness are more important than ever today. That's why many manufacturers rely on a distinctive design language with strong brand recognition. Spin BeeFree wins innovation prize in Berlin
The Spin BeFree from WETROK, designed by Weinberg & Ruf, is the winner of the Purus Innovation Award 2025 in the cleaning machine category. This compact machine brings scrubbing and vacuuming power to areas previously only accessible with a mop. Its design sets new standards in ergonomics and efficiency. The machine intuitively follows every movement and is easy to maneuver thanks to its forward motion.

NOAC receives Innovation Award BW
With noac, surgeons operate without pain or physical fatigue. They not only remain fit and focused throughout a long day of surgery, but also healthy throughout their entire careers. The result is an unparalleled design object that impresses with its balanced proportions, superior ergonomics, and intuitive operation.
The State Innovation Prize – Dr. Rudolf Eberle Prize – is one of the first prizes awarded for innovations in Germany.
Baden-Württemberg Design Award for Bessey one-handed clamp
Jury's reasoning:
A very high-quality and practical product. The rotating handle is a new feature, well-designed, and makes work more efficient. The corporate color red clearly identifies the operating points.

The "Dr. Mach LED 8" operating light ensures optimal lighting conditions on the operating table. It impresses not only with its high light output but also with a user-centered design that enables intuitive operation and offers useful functions.
iF 2022 and Red Dot Design Award 2023 for ELCO heat pump
Jury's reasoning:
THALION S impresses as an innovative heat pump solution with a high sustainability factor. Thanks to its contemporary design, it blends discreetly into the outdoor area.
Effective transport of water with high flow rates
The robust STIHL WP 600 water pump provides efficient support for water transport. In agriculture, for example, it can be used to draw fresh water from lakes, rivers, wells, or reservoirs, or to remove unwanted water accumulations. Its sturdy frame allows for secure positioning on various surfaces.
